Johan Holmberg from Helsinki. Other members of the board are mrs. Carita Heinrichs, Kirkkonummi; mrs. Ingegerd Niemi, Ruotsinpyhtää; mrs. Margareta Hästö, Espoo ; mrs. Tuula Grundström, Espoo and mr. Helge Keitel, Ruotsinpyhtää. Deputies are mrs. Anja Tuomi-Strandell, Kyrkslätt and mrs. Erika Kihlman, Tammisaari.
MISSION STATEMENT Nylands Hantverk r.f. - Nylands Arts and Crafts Association is a Swedish speaking nonprofit membership organization, networking and furthering the interests of the arts and crafts industry, recognizing needs, fostering opportunities, and working for the promotion of all craftsperson's and professional artists and crafters in the Southern coastal area of Finland. Our mission is to maintain, keep alive and develop the arts and crafts as a natural part of our daily life through a multitude of activities, and to foster and transfer our cultural heritage to new generations. Nylands hantverk r.f. supports the ethical promotion of arts and craft both as a cultural and business activity with seminars, exhibitions and cooperative projects. OUR STAFF Esko Taanila, Director

THE ASSOCIATION Nylands Hantverk r.f. is a Swedish speaking arts and crafts association established in 1982. The activities cover the Swedish and Finnish / Swedish speaking municipalities of Östra Nyland and Nyland (The Southern coastal area of Finland). Nylands hantverk r.f. currently has 370 members in Finland.
